A client’s contract can be put on hold under the client’s contract screen. Navigate here by clicking the “Companies” menu, then clicking the Clients icon. You can also select the Coaches icon then the Clients of this coach icon.
The best way to demonstrate this is with an example… Let’s say our client Boyce currently has a 12 month contract that will run to 30 Sep 2017
To put her contract on hold we simple change the “Date Ended” to the hold date. In her case it is 28 Feb 2017. The screen will update and show us that she has used 5 of her 12 month contract period.
When Boyce is ready to resume coaching sessions we simply enter a new contract row for the remaining 7 months of the contract. 1 Jun 2017 to 31 Dec 2017 in the example below.
Now any sessions booked in the “off” period of 1 Mar 2017 to 31 May 2017 will give the coach a warning that no contracts exist at the session date.
